Stronger heart with varied diet

Vegetarians have a found to be 32% less likely to die or be admitted to hospital for heart disease. A study of 45,000 people in England & Scotland  found that vegetarians had a varied diet of different nutrients which supports the statistics of the  differences in cholesterol levels, blood pressure and body weight which are thought to be behind the health boost.

Other factors that can lead to poor cardiac health -
