Lin Du – acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist
Lin is an experienced and passionate practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Background
Lin originally came from China. In China, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), from acupuncture to herbal medicine, is as much part of the mainstream as Western medicine. They are fully integrated. Being educated in both disciplines and having many years of clinical experience, Lin understands well that TCM is pivotal in improving the quality of life. Lin sees TCM as a complementary rather than alternative to conventional medicine.
Lin started her practice in the hospital as a resident in China from 1996 when she got her bachelor’s degree. Later on, she finished her Master and Ph.D. as well. Before she moved to the UK, Lin worked as a lecturer in university and an attending in its affiliated hospital.
