Screening patients at Pharmacy's saving money?

Screening patients at pharmacies could save NHS billions of pounds claims Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

But treating patients with antibiotics for coughs and colds, and codeine based drugs for pain management will only perpetuate long periods of time with these medications. For Example a course of antibiotics for ear and chest infections will kill the infection but the amount will decrease white blood cell production.
Antibiotics instead of good nutritional and health advice for patients with, colds and ear infections has only increased  Ci difficle & MRSA. Other medicine for back pain and fibromyalgia is codeine based medication after long periods of use most patients build up a tolerance and have to take other medication to counter act the side effects such as laxatives etc.
