Male late 20’s that had a severe cat phobia to such an extent that if he was to simply think about a cat he would break out into sweats and his heartbeat would increase. As he frequently made visits to his mother in law who had two cats this was not only a problem affecting him but also his immediate family as all cats had to be out of his sight or hearing. By the end of the session the client was able to sit in a room holding a cat on his knee. His wife who initially contacted me stated that if she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes she would not have believed it.
