Background

Emma has had a long interest in Chinese medicine and was one of the first graduates from a ground breaking UK degree course specialising in the subject.

Qualifications

Emma has a BSc from the University of Salford in Traditional and Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Emma continued to pursue her acupuncture studies at the University of Tianjin in China, which is quite rare for a westerner. Her first appointment was, in 2003, at the Graduate Clinic at Salford University, which has a thriving alternative medical community of practitioners.

In 2004 Emma trained in ‘Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture’ with recognised expert Virginia Doran. Cosmetic acupuncture is a natural way to look and feel years younger — and has proved to be a very popular treatment!

Emma values the continuous development of her professional knowledge and enjoys working with each patient to help promote health and well-being.
