Can Pain management help with Migraines and neck pain

Neck tension can be triggered by a awkward sitting/ position brought on by anxiety or injury. Pain management will help stop these problems using TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Hypnotherapy/EFT ( Emotional Freedom Technique) or CBT/counselling. With emotional problems such  as anxiety it is important what is real and not a build up of negative thought patterns brought on by an outdated belief system or a negative perception. Hypnotherapy will have elements of NLP and these techniques are very effective in separating emotional problems that can trigger anxiety. Other emotional problems can be tackled through EFT counselling and CBT.

Pain management through hypnosis

Hypnosis is not appropriate or effective for all sufferers of pain; this should be considered par-for-the-course, as no treatment, chemical, physical, or psychological, has ever been proven to be 100% effective. Whatever treatment undertaken if it can help a sizable number of people, it is then considered effective. Because hypnosis has been shown to be effective in pain management in many different studies in many different situations, it should be considered as effective as other modalities.
Clients suffering from pain can be taught self hypnosis to:

Please note that before commencing any complimentary pain management it is recommended that you first discuss it with your own doctor as it is not a substitute for any medical treatment already being received.

Acupuncture for pain relief

The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2002 released a report entitled “Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials”. This report states that acupuncture “can be regarded as the method of choice for treating many chronically painful conditions.”

According to WHO, acupuncture’s effective rate in the treatment of chronic pain is comparable with that of morphine. Acupuncture has been shown clinically to trigger the central nervous system to release pain-relieving chemicals, such as endorphins. Many neurotransmitters are also affected by acupuncture, and changes in these may affect pain transmission from irritated nerves.

Our acupuncture approach in pain-relieving

We use different acupuncture techniques in pain conditions. Why?

First, we understand everybody is unique. Different person has different response. One technique that is great to one person might only be ok to another. Everyone deserves a great solution.
Second, we prefer giving our clients some non-invasive methods during the interval of acupuncture session so their pain won’t return to its original level.
Third, we understand that there is no such a method that is for everybody. There are always certain people who don’t respond.
