New approach to Fertility Treatments
Researchers from the London Imperial college have found an understanding of how certain hormones effect the the brain, which they believe will start a new approach to fertility treatments.
Studies are related to women athletes who have infrequent to no periods or hypothalamic amenorrhea which is quite common. Researchers looked at kisspeptin and another reproductive hormone which is depleted in women with HA, disrupting the menstruation cycle, and potentially leading to infertility.
