Reflexology
Whilst the art of reflexology dates back to Egypt, India & China, it wasn't until 1913 that Dr William Fitzgerald introduced it to the west as ‘zone’ therapy. He noted that reflex areas on the feet and hands were linked to other areas and organs of the body within the same zone.
In the 1930's Eunice Ingham further developed this zone therapy into what is known as reflexology. She observed that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrored that corresponding part of the body.
Reflexology is a complimentary therapy, which works on the feet to help heal the whole person not the prevailing symptoms.
After some months of sacral illeac pain in my back and various treatments. I came to see Anne Holloway who was able to help my pain via reflexology. There was an apparent abnormality in my spine and recommended I seek a more detailed consultation with an osteopath. I had injured my coccyx in a fall some years previously and exacerbated this in a bad lifting posture. I had no idea the two events were connected and Anne was able to sort the problem. I found the treatment both amazingly relaxing and informative, I thoroughly recommend it!Therapist : Anne HollowayTherapy reflexology
