“Look into my eyes dear” is a popular and seductive quote based on that the eyes are the windows to the soul. It is well know that certain emotional states such as stress, sexual stimulation, and intoxication with certain substances that can cause characteristic change in pupil size.
Iridology is an entirely different concept, that changes in the iris (coloured part of the eye) can indicate discord or disease in the rest of the body.
Iridology cannot diagnose specific diseases, but subtle changes in the iris, can help in making subtle changes to the patients well-being to promote good health.
