Suzannah Blackwell - Homeopath

Homeopathy is a natural way of supporting your body to better maintain a balance and enable you to function at your optimum capability. By using remedies made from natural sources it strengthens your immune system to help you make quick recovery. It ensures you maintain good levels of health and vitality.

Benefits of Homeopathy

There are many benefits including:

  • Strengthening immunity
  • Maintaining optimum levels of health and welbeing
  • Balancing mental and emotional symptoms i.e reducing stress
  • Preventing physical ailments
The principal of homeopathy is the connection between physical and emotional balance. Homeopathy focuses on you as a whole and provides an experience for you to explore, identify and address all issues which may be affecting you as a whole.
The basic premise of homeopathy is that the symptom, unless the result of an accident/intervention, is a representation of the disease and not the disease itself. Homeopathy does not treat diseases. Symptoms are manifested by the whole body. If the body is displaying symptoms of disease or illness, it is the body as a whole that is not well. These symptoms are there to help the homeopath formulate a map of the disease state.

The homeopath will systematically note all the symptoms expressed by the body as a whole, physical and emotional. They will also require your family history of disease, vaccination history, your personality traits and character, your preferred diet, dreams, fears and phobias. This is an important part of understanding the fuller picture of your health and well being and is required to assess your case correctly. They will consider this information fully before prescribing. They will discuss your treatment plan and how you can best work together.

Suzannah's focus on stress reduction was inspired by her experience of patients working in professions that demand long and often unsocial working hours. Trying to balance a personal life and bring up a family can prove at best challenging.

"When overwhelmed with difficult circumstances whatever they may be, It can be stressful in itself to know which decision to make for the best. Homeopathy can be really effective in helping you to regain and maintain your centre and focus.".

Suzannah's focus on teenagers/child developmental blocks originated from her mentoring of teenagers on work placements at chest clinics in recent years.

"It was through working with these teenagers that I gained an insight into how effective homeopathy could be in allowing the child to gain a greater awareness of their true strength and capabilities. Allowing them to feel secure and trust in the power of their own decisions and choices."
