All About me
Expectant parents are frequently told that "having a baby will change your life forever" and in my experience this has absolutely true. The arrival of my son has changed both mine and my husband's outlook completely and almost all of these changes have been in ways that we could never have envisaged.
I discovered that I enjoyed mother hood despite the many challenges that it presents. I found the process of nurturing and bonding with my son extremely rewarding. Baby massage quickly became part the daily routine. I found it particularly useful as I had experienced difficulties in breast feeding; Touching my baby helped to recreate the sense of closeness and oneness, which we were otherwise missing.
After deciding against returning to work full time and struggling to find appropriate part time work in my chosen profession I decided to start my own business with hours to suit my family. Baby yoga seemed a natural choice as I already firmly believed in the power of touch and the benefits of adult yoga. The more I leant about it the more I wished that baby yoga classes had been running in the area when my son was a small baby.
I have since started training to become a baby yoga instructor so that other new mothers can benifit from this truly unique experience.
