I work as a Counsellor in GP surgeries within a Primary Care Trust/NHS environment and in Private Practice.

Background

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor working towards Accreditation this year. I am a full member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I fell into the world of counselling by chance and have never looked back! Many years in a financial/office environment inspired me to look for change and fulfilment. After receiving counselling myself I decided to to do a foundation course and I was hooked! I loved the empathic, trusting environment that counselling can bring and decided to go on and qualify as a Counsellor.

I also have experience in counselling adolescents within a school environment and facilitating group work.

I enjoy the real, human connection that counselling can bring and feel that my naturally warm, empathic character helps to create a trusting relationship where clients can feel safe to explore their issues and options for a brighter future.
